Aiar has been diving and teaching rebreathers since 2004, and today he’s an active instructor on the Prism 2, Gemini, and now the GBM. He’s logged countless hours in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, gaining a deep respect for their currents, wrecks, and occasional surprises that remind you why redundancy matters.

Based in Houston, Texas, Aiar partially owns Gulf Coast Scuba, where he shares his love for technical diving, rebreather training, and helping divers push their limits safely.

When he’s not teaching, traveling, or servicing equipment, odds are he’s outside wingsuiting, mountain biking, or finding a new way to enjoy gravity in reverse
